i dont know what you mean by bad quality. its 96 dpi because i save it for web and devices i didnt want to try and upload the original 300 dpi file its huge. if you dont have the correct screen resolution yeah its going to look horrible. sorry you think its bad.

its already at 1920x1200 why would i decrease the Resolution?

PNG is a lossless compression algorithm, which will sometimes produce better quality images. However, does it matter how high the quality is if one cannot tell the difference with the eye? I don't see that saving this image as a PNG will improve anything. Rather, it will simply make the file size larger (as a PNG-24).
